  7. SDL (SCSI Driver Library) is a line of SCSI device drivers that run atop the
  8. most popular SCSI boards/chips. They support a broad range of SCSI features
  9. including: command queuing, parity checking, synchronous and asynchronous
  10. communication, disconnect/reconnect, CCS (Common Command Set), asynchronous
  11. event notification, contingent allegiance (both on customer request), automatic
  12. request sense, and PIO/DMA. These drivers are modular, OS-independent and
  13. provide a consistent, homogenous interface to all class-level drivers through a
  14. simple queuing interface. Peripherals supported include: disks, tapes,
  15. scanners, CD-ROMs, WORM drives, printers, and floppies.
